This Policy is developed in accordance with the following internationally recognized frameworks and standards, and is continuously updated in line with the latest RMI requirements:
The Company manages the following three categories of minerals through tiered surveys under the RMI Mineral Reporting Template (MRT) system. As the templates and their completion guides are revised in line with updates to RMI standards, the Company requires suppliers to report using the latest versions published on the RMI website. Suppliers shall obtain the latest templates and completion guides directly from the RMI website (responsiblemineralsinitiative.org).
Survey Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
Suppliers must report using the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) in its latest version published on the RMI website, together with the latest completion guide, including product list, countries/regions of origin, smelter and refiner (SOR) names, facility locations, smelter IDs and RMAP conformance status. The template is designed to support Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation, and is aligned with the IPC-1755 standard, with countries/regions named in line with ISO standards. Suppliers should follow the guidance on CAHRAs (Questions 3 & 4) in the latest CMRT completion guide when declaring whether minerals originate from conflict-affected and high-risk areas.
Suppliers must report using the Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) in its latest version published on the RMI website, together with the latest Smelter Reference List. The EMRT currently covers six minerals: cobalt, copper, natural graphite, lithium, natural mica and nickel (the exact mineral scope is subject to the latest version published on the RMI website). It aims to support reporting under the EU Batteries Regulation and other prioritized minerals, and is aligned with IPC-1755. Suppliers should complete the EMRT in accordance with the latest version and the updated Smelter Reference List published on the RMI website, with countries/regions named in line with ISO standards.
The Company annually prioritizes additional minerals for survey based on Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis, customer requirements, regulatory trends and tools such as RMI Material Insights (up to ten minerals). Common prioritized additional minerals include rare earth elements (REEs), zinc, molybdenum, manganese, aluminum/bauxite, lead, antimony, platinum group metals (PGMs), beryllium and indium. Suppliers must report using the Additional Minerals Reporting Template (AMRT) in its latest version published on the RMI website, for the scope specified by the Company. The AMRT allows users to define up to ten minerals and must not include minerals covered by the CMRT or the EMRT. The Company reviews and updates its prioritized mineral list annually and notifies suppliers of the results.
The Company requires all suppliers to:
The Company establishes and implements its mineral supply chain due diligence system in accordance with the five-step OECD Due Diligence Guidance framework:
The Company adopts a risk-based approach, prioritizing risks related to CAHRAs and OECD Annex II risks (serious human rights abuses, support to non-state armed groups, public or private security forces, bribery and fraudulent misrepresentation of origin, money laundering, and non-payment of taxes, fees and royalties). Where a supplier is found to be in material non-compliance, refuses to cooperate, or cannot evidence the origin of its minerals, the Company may require corrective action within a defined timeframe, suspend new orders, or ultimately terminate the business relationship. The Company encourages and supports suppliers to participate in RMI training and encourages smelters to join RMAP audits or industry due diligence programs. The Company does not adopt blanket embargoes; instead, it promotes responsible sourcing through due diligence, consistent with the positions of the OECD and the RMI.

This Policy is published on the Company's official website for customers, suppliers and the public.
The Company reviews this Policy and its due diligence performance at least annually and reports to management.
